Now in its 33rd successful year, the Bancroft & Area Studio Tour provides an exciting opportunity to visit artists and artisans in their studios while touring through gorgeous North Hastings during the peak of the autumn colours.

The participating artists have been carefully juried into the tour, and offer a wide range of handmade, uniquely creative work.

Guests are welcomed into studios to meet the artists, view their creations and to purchase fine craft and art directly from the creators. Please note that some artists’ locations may not accept debit and/or credit card payments, however cash is accepted everywhere.


     AMY DOOLE   POTTER   (23 Fitzgerald Street)   

Amy creates functional stoneware pottery. Her work is nostalgic and playful with bright and earthy colours, sculptural elements, unique textures and vintage images.

Moving to the Bancroft area in 2018, Lynne is emerging as an artist. Mainly self taught, Lynne takes her inspiration from hiking, kayaking and exploring the lake reflections and the natural life around the shores. Lynne also works and teaches Ceramics but is showing her painting on the tour.

Irina is a fine art printmaker and painter, visiting the tour from St. Michael, Newfoundland.She will be showing a series of monotypes, and paintings, all portable small works, that relate to her surroundings – St. John’s Harbour and the view from her St. Michael’s Printshop window. It is all weather related.


     LYLE COLLINS   WOOD WORKER   (616 Bronson Road)

Lyle creates one of a kind salt and pepper mills and shakers from tree branches sourced on his own property. He produces unique live edge tables, charcuterie boards, lamps, coat racks, and more!


     HARRY LANGFORD   PAINTER   (Harry is a guest at Lyle’s studio)

Harry is a contemporary artist that works in various mediums of acrylic, oil and resin. He uses different techniques such as Dutch pour, resin manipulation
and more recently brush work to achieve his desired effect.
